Terms of use

UmmahRank is an advertising and discovery board. We send visitors on to the App Store, Google Play, a product website or an X profile. We do not sell software, warrant that anything works, or issue religious rulings.

Listing on the board

By sponsoring a listing you warrant that you may promote it, that the link is the official one, and that the details are accurate. You grant us a licence to display the name, icon and short description. You will not present a paid position as quality, downloads, or scholarly endorsement, because it is none of those things.

Placement

Each payment is a fresh 30-day bid. To pass a listing, bid at least $1 more than its standing amount. Stripe charges the full bid, and that paid amount becomes the listing's standing bid. Rank is assigned globally when payment clears and can change whenever another bid succeeds. The full rules are set out on the rules page. We may pause or remove a listing that breaks these terms or the listing policy, and rankings are recomputed whenever a payment completes, a window expires, or a listing is removed.

A position is not reserved while you pay. If the same listing reaches an equal or higher standing bid before payment clears, we automatically refund the stale payment. The charge may appear temporarily while your bank processes the refund. Being outbid after a successful placement does not itself create a refund right.

Payment and chargebacks

By completing a purchase you confirm that you have reviewed the listing and the price, and you authorise the payment. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

If there is any problem with your purchase, please contact us at before opening a payment dispute or chargeback. We would far rather fix it directly, and we can usually do so the same day.

Listings removed by us for a policy breach discovered after payment are refunded in full. Listings removed for deliberate deception are not.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Liability

The board is provided as-is. We are not liable for store outages, how a listed product behaves, or decisions you make after leaving the site. Our total liability for a sponsored placement is limited to the amount you paid for it.
